Pricing FAQ

Do I need a credit card for the trial? +
No. You create an account with an email address and password only. No payment details are requested during the trial. If you choose to subscribe after the trial you'll enter card details at that point — never before.
What happens when the trial ends? +
Your account automatically moves to the Free plan. You keep all your designs and library shapes in read-only mode. You can still download any SVG files you generated during the trial. You'll be able to generate 5 new templates per month on the free plan going forward.
Can I cancel any time? +
Yes. Cancel from your Account Settings page at any time. Your subscription continues until the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then moves to the Free plan. No cancellation fees.
What does "template" mean in the limits? +
One "template generation" means clicking the Generate button once — which produces the full set of panels for your vessel (body strips, base, profile rib). A typical vase generates 3–12 panels in one generation. The limit counts button presses, not individual SVG files downloaded.
Is there an annual billing option? +
SlabStudio Studio is billed annually at $50/year. There is no monthly option — annual billing keeps the price low for everyone.
Do you offer student or educator discounts? +
Yes. Students at accredited ceramics programmes get 50% off Studio. Educators get the Institution plan at a significant discount. Email [email protected] with your institution affiliation and we'll sort you out.
Can I get a VAT invoice? +
Yes. EU businesses can add their VAT number to their billing profile and receive reverse-charge invoices. Individual VAT-registered subscribers in EU countries can also enter their VAT number to remove VAT from their subscription. Contact us if you need invoices for reimbursement.
