Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using SlabStudio ("Service"), operated by Diablo Atelier SRL ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service, worldwide.

2. Description of Service

SlabStudio is a browser-based tool that generates geometric slab-building templates for ceramic artists. It allows users to design vessel profiles, calculate shrinkage-compensated panel dimensions, and export print-ready PDF and SVG templates.

3. Accounts and Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at hello@diabloatelier.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

One account per person. You may not share accounts or create accounts on behalf of others without authorization.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

SlabStudio offers a free beta period and paid subscription plans. By subscribing, you authorize us (via Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You can cancel at any time — access continues until the end of the paid period
• Price changes will be communicated with at least 30 days notice
• All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service
• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the Service's security
• Use automated tools to generate templates at scale for commercial redistribution
• Impersonate other users or Company employees

6. Intellectual Property

Our IP: The Service, including its software, design, algorithms, and underlying mathematics, is owned by Diablo Atelier SRL and protected by copyright law.

Your content: Templates and designs you generate using the Service are yours. You retain full ownership of the output files you download. We do not claim any rights over your generated templates.

Feedback: Any feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation to you.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculated dimensions will be suitable for any particular clay body or firing process. Always test a small template before cutting a full batch.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Diablo Atelier SRL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including material losses from incorrect templates. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Account Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, but downloaded template files remain yours.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Peru. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lima, Peru, except where local consumer protection laws grant you rights in your country of residence.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email and/or a notice on the Service at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
