Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We use localStorage (similar
to cookies) to keep you logged in and remember your preferences.
2. What We Use
Essential / Strictly Necessary
These cannot be disabled — without them the Service does not function:
- ss_access — Your authentication token (expires in 15 minutes)
- ss_refresh — Your session refresh token (expires in 30 days)
- ss_user — Your name and plan (cached locally for display)
- ss_open_design — ID of a design you last opened (session only)
- ss_preset — Last selected vessel preset (session only)
What We Do NOT Use
- No advertising or targeting cookies
- No third-party analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.)
- No social media tracking cookies
- No cross-site tracking of any kind
3. Third-Party Services
Stripe (our payment processor) may set its own cookies during checkout. These are governed by
Stripe's Cookie Policy.
4. Managing Storage
You can clear all SlabStudio data at any time:
- Sign out from the dashboard (clears auth tokens)
- Delete your account from Account Settings (deletes all server-side data)
- Clear browser localStorage via your browser's developer tools or settings
5. No Consent Banner Required
Because we use only strictly necessary cookies and no third-party tracking, we are not required
under GDPR/ePrivacy to show a cookie consent banner. If we introduce non-essential cookies in the
future, we will update this policy and implement appropriate consent mechanisms.
